Capturing Your Memories
At Calabrese Fotografia, we believe the taking of family photos can be a time spent having fun and creating memories. We love to create an environment that brings out the best in your family and to document that special bond that families have. Whilst we love to take photos of all families, the ones closest to our hearts are those with Special Needs children. We love to capture the special bond, unique personalities of these children and the amazing bond they have with their family. This can be done in our studio or at one of Melbourne’s beautiful outdoor areas.
We look forward to capturing your memories soon.
About Nicole (Principal Photographer)
As a mother of 4 children, all now in their late teenage or early twenties, I treasure the photos of my children when they were young. In particular because I live with Bi-Polar disorder, the treatment for which has severely affected my long term memory. In many cases I now rely on photos or others’ accounts of my children’s stories and cannot relive these memories on my own. Photos are important.
I am now finding joy in creating new memories with my family and doing new things that I love. I particularly love being with children with Special Needs and have previously worked as a Kindergarten and Primary School Integration Aide. Joining this with my love of photography, I now love to capture the special connection these families have and the uniqueness of each child. They are so much more than their disability.
As a photographer, I hope to be able to capture your family in a way that you will be proud to hang your photos on the wall for many years to come.
I have been taking great photos for a number of years now. I have won a number of photography competitions including a Canon EOS Award.
My studio is located at our family home in Mont Albert North, Victoria. There I hope to provide a comfortable setting where my family and I can show you true hospitality and put you and your family in a great frame of mind to take great photos.
